THE TOPIC

Lindsie Thomson and Rod Sieg from Harris & Co. are back with a follow up to their widely praised session on Navigating Freedom of Expression and Academic Freedom in BC’s Public Post-Secondary Sector. This new session focuses on the intersection between hate speech and freedom of expression in an academic setting. This session will break down the complex legal framework that post-secondary institutions must navigate to find this balance and answer your questions on how to work through these emerging and important issues.

Participants will benefit from having taken the introductory session.
